Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Margo Hanson on the Syfy show about a fantasy romance called The Magicians (2015-present). In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American actress Jasira experiencing a turbulent existence in the backdrop of the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War. In the following year, she was chosen as one of Variety's 10 Actors to Watch for 2007. She was in 2009 as the imposing Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for this film. The actress has also appeared in films such as the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star and Under the Silver Lake and had a number of guest appearances on television apart from playing co-lead on Lucky 7.
